Knowledge empowers you to problem solve. As a woman in leadership, it’s important to continue evolving in your chosen career in order to lead effectively. You need to know how to problem solve. Nobody is willing to follow a leader who is ignorant in their field. Constantly expanding your knowledge and studying empowers not only yourself but also the team around you.

Knowledge creates confidence. We talk about confidence a lot in this series, and for good reason. It is one of the best indicators of a person who takes action on what they say. When you are scared and timid, it’s likely that you are not familiar or knowledgeable about what you are trying to achieve or problem solve. You can tell when somebody is confident in what they are saying or selling; they will shine and be more than happy to help.
